From the minute we walked in the staff did everything to please us. The room was pleasant and very clean. It's well situated, very near the Foggy Bottom metro stop, which makes getting around a breeze. Whenever we used a cab the concierage called they took us a direct route not some tour of the city. Ha. That's service.

From the moment we walked into the lobby we were treated with respect and a manner to fulfill all our needs. It's an ideal place in foggy bottom with a metro 2 blocks away (five mnute walk). The suites (living area and kitchenette) were very well thought out and in good condition. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
The restuarant also had a decent little menu for breakfast and dinner and the prices were reasonable.
Nice room, great service, convenient to Metro and a great value!

Loved this hotel! Husband, 11 year old and I were there just over a week in August. Full kitchen and Whole Foods grocery near by allowed us to save on meals and the kitchenette is located out of sight of the main room. Location is close to Metro and tree-lined street is pleasant and a nice alternative to a corporate hotel. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. We had one of the rooms with the pull-out sofa and that worked well. Being there in August, it was especially a great value. Only downgrade to room quality was a little bit of wear on some furniture but the room was nicely furnished, with marble bathroom.
