The two things I look for in a hotel for family trips are free continental breakfast and free internet. We rented a villa which included a kitchen and, since their website says "continental breakfast," we did not pack any breakfast foods. Their idea of a continental breakfast was coffee, tea and a few packaged Litltle Debbie cakes which, upon opening, were stale. It's pretty easy and relatively inexpensive to provide a decent continental breakfst for your guests which I've found is done much better at many other hotels in this same price range. They also advertise "wireless internet " but that was only available in the lobby and courtyard area. The beds were extremely hard and the couch that made into a bed was not useable. My son had to sleep on the couch instead which was more comfortable. We paid $12 per night for an extra person and the maids continually left only two sets of towels (even after straightening the couch where obviously another person had slept). One night, when we made the request for an extra set of towels, they responded promptly but arrived with 3 bath mats saying they were so full that they did not have any more regular towels. I know that everywhere in the Keys is expensive the week between Christmas and New Years, but for the amount we had to pay at the Days Inn, these things are not acceptable. We will not stay here again----and will plan our vacation much sooner so that we can get better accommodations!
