I first checked in for a non smoking room. Upon entering it It was VERY DIRTY, sheets everywhere,smoke filled, sink running water :A MESS. I went back and told front desk and the girl said that she was not on the clock yet she was standing in front of a desk. I told her about the room and told her can she or someone else clean it, response no. So I waited for a guy he assigned me a smoking room because the nonsmoking rooms were all checked out. I accepted but only stayed there for a couple hours because the smoke in the room were bothering my eyes and I did not want to smell of smoke on my clothes. I wish I would have taken pictures knowing that this survey you can upload pictures.

As I arrive my room was ready. It was very clean. The service was excellent.

My boyfriend and I stayed @ the Red Roof for my Campus Orientation @ FAU. All the hotels in Boca was booked Red Roof was the only hotel with vacancy in the area. After we checked in upon arriving to our room, I notice people hanging outside the other side of building 1:30 am in the morning... when we started unloading our luggage, a car full of suspicous people pull up on the side of us watching. As we went up to the room I peaked out the window and notice that same car having conversation with some other people that walked up, basically they were selling drugs (trust me it wasnt hard to figure out, they made it obvious)... throughout the night I felt so unsafe, I kept peaking out the window and noticing different people coming in and out the parking lot and loud talking.. I suggest that none of them were guest, I later concluded that the RED Roof Inn was their dope spot for selling drugs.... The only problem I had with the room was that the floor was not properly vacuum, the heater knob was broken which caused the heater to not work, and their were only one towel placed in the bathroom... the one good thing I can say about RRI is that they had almost 99 channels (i guess that were the money goes)... I would not recommend this place to anyone esp. women and children who are traveling alone.

There is too much suspect activity going on all around the outside rooms. I even felt unsafe walking my dog at night . Stayed here two hoping the first stay was just a fluke. The second stay was even more like a horror story. Staying here just might be the worst decision you will ever make.
