We paid too much for the hotel, they did not take care of the bathrooms, old finishing, bad quality repairs, dripping water from condensation, carpet is dirty, very small toilet and shower space, no tissue in the room, shampoo very poor quality. Will not go back.This hotel is not up to the expectation for the money we have paid, Dirty carpet, old building, rooms need remodeling( very old and Un-appealing).

A good option for those wanting to stay in the Kaanapali area. Rooms have somewhat dated decor but contain everything you need. Restaurant offers decent food, although those who prefer to converse at dinner should be warned that there is always a live music/hula show. Beach access can't be beat. Beach towels are free; parking, beach chairs, and room safe all cost extra.

The hotel was welcoming and clean. Staff were friendly and location was easy to get to. The thing to remember is that there are no deals in Hawaii. Everything costs. The hotel is one of older hotels on this long coastline strip of hotels. I enjoyed it's quaintness and the fact that it was not as splashy as the hotels, condos, timeshares around it.

This warm service continues to the traditional lei greeting upon check out. There is also an added bonus of one free breakfast with some great travel tips. The grounds are beautiful and easy access to beach and footpath to Whalers village. This is an older property and the value combined with the traditional location cannot be beat.
