We were only disappointed that we hadn't planned to stay longer. Have been to other accommodations in Couers d'Alene before but will return here for our next visit. Only complaint was the difficulty in finding the access to the property from the highway. We made an after dark arrival and had very difficult experience in getting through adjacent property parking lots, speed bumps, landscape medians and poor lighting. We were told that the City dis-allows them to place a street side sign indicating how to enter.

Clean, convenient, friendly staff and a great value.

The hotel was great and we did have a nice stay. My complaint is that I had a expensive item taken from our room. We stayed for four nights and on the last day a bottle of perfume was taken from the vanity area. I did not catch this until after we had departed. I called the manager as soon as we arrived home and he said he would look into it and then I never heard back from him. I followed up with him later to find he was unable to do anything about it since I had no proof. When you stay at a hotel, you have a certain amount of trust that the person cleaning your room will not take anything from you. Lesson learned, do not stay here . . . . the maids have sticky fingers!

I had been to this motel a couple of times before for work conferences, and really enjoyed my stay. I had decided to take my two children to Scarywood and needed a room close by as we live almost two hours away and the driving home after midnight just didn't seem like a very good option to me. Check in and out was fast, easy and super friendly. I really liked the later check out time as well, especially since we didn't get back to the room till after 12 a.m. The 24 hour pool was nice as well since the kids wanted to be able to hit the pool that night and then again after the wonderful complimentary breakfast that was provided.
