Got a good rate of $* per night on the web site, but at checkout the manager said I requested an upgrade to a suite and charged me $* per night plus $* per night on the weekend. I never requested an upgrade because I travel on a fixed work budget and the extra comes out of my wallet. When I complained, she refused to change the charge and hit my credit card for the difference, over 10 days it added up. I even had a printout of the confirmed $* rate and the manager could not show me a signed document where i accepted the rate increase. I complained to Marriot Customer Care and they refused to refund the extra, even after I provided documentation to prove the manager lied. This is the classic bait and switch. If you stay here, they will hold your credit card for ransom. About the hotel, it nothing special. You can hear your neighbors TV at night. The wireless internet did not work. The suite is the same size room without an extra door, The A/C is noisy, if it works. A guy I was travel with found hairs in his sheets the first night. The breakfast is about as good as you get at 7-11; cereal or microwave egg-a-muffin. The hall smells like wet rug. The parking lot is small and a lot of kids stay here in the summer. Do not get a room on the same side as the pool and put a towel under the door to block the noise. Do not get a room on the highway side because of the trucks noise. This hotel is easy to find, just turn left at the gas station and the hotel is in the parking lot next to Home Depot.
