The room was clean, food good, and service was great. However, the building is old and not maintained. Towels were outside the AC units sopping up leakage. It's basically and old hotel that has not been maintained.
When you book a room at the last minute, you may not get the quality you want.

I should have called to report this hotel when i first arrived. our room was not ready. the desk clerk was no where near being friendly. she was so indifferent ...
I should have called to report this hotel when I first arrived. Our room was not ready. The desk clerk was no where near being friendly. She was so indifferent about my family and I she did not even contact the manager. Aparently they were very shorthanded as far as staff.
My family were so tired that we just waited for the room to be ready and just stayed. My family is a large framed family and need at least queen sized beds to sleep comfortably, but the room only had full beds.
That nights sleep was the worst I have had in many of years.
I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
People were nice but the bed was really uncomfortable

I stayed here while I was in Kentucky for the state fair. It was clean enough and the staff was nice. Unfortunately the cable was out for half of my stay and the staff didn't offer any help or apologies. That would be my only problem with this hotel.
