Discovered this place by accident and we were glad we did. We have three children and were taking a cruise out of New Orleans and wanted to be outside the quarter, but within walking distance of it. Quiet, clean, and spacious room that we hated to leave for a cruise cabin the next day. We usually go to New Orleans twice a year and we will stay here each time.

Windsor Court is a beautiful hotel and the rooms are wonderfully decorated. However, the staff was not friendly and did not make any effort to make us feel welcome. There was no introduction of the amenities available at the hotel.
We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, and the food was good. The lady in the gift shop was very pleasant. Would I stay again? Maybe.

We loved the look and feel of the hotel. Very elegant, the decor is gorgeous! The location is perfect too - we went to experience all of New Orleans and the hotel's location allowed us to do all that without being kept up all night by the noise. You can walk anywhere you might want to go and really experience all of the major districts of New orleans. The restaurant and lounge were lovely too. The only negative comment I can make is on the hotel staff - they did not go out of their way to be helpful or even friendly.

Recent room makeovers and flatscreen technology spelled the demise of the pop-up TVs, but the sophisticated comfort and over-the-top service at this hotel remains constant. The location just across Canal Street from the Quarter gives you great access to the temptations there without all the noise and, um, smell. Food and drink compare favorably with any hostelry in town, marquee chefs' restaurants included (August is right across the street, btw). Keurig machines in each room is a nice touch, as was the live jazz combo entertaining in the lobby when we arrived at 5 (on a Thursday yet!!). We have been coming here for years and are NEVER disappointed.
