First the positive... I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay in south Portland. It is directly across the Maine Maine with many restaurant close by. Clean rooms and friendly service. Negatives.... A bit loud. You can hear everything all through out the night. If you were planning to go for a swim or relax in the hot tub - you may want to reconsider. There is a sign stating the hot tub has been closed since march of 2012! The pool is freezing too! Doesn't even feel like it's heated. I watched the kids come out with blue lips.they weren't even in there long. So if you just want an inexpensive place to stay - would definitely recommend - but if your looking for a nice warm pool and tub - look elsewhere.

We stayed here just on a transit stop and were pleasantly surprised. Great service, comfortable, clean room, inexpensive. Other reviews complained about the decor being dated. It is but I didn't go there to be wowed by the trappings. As airport lodgings go, you can't beat it.

Book this hotel if your just planning on a stop over, very close to airport and they have a free shuttle to the airport. The room reminded me of a very old motel room. The beds need to be replaced, one was at a slant. And what were they thinking when they had the ceilings textured.
