The view of the river and canada from the 58th floor was amazing. The only complaint was that we checked in at 5:30 p.m. And our room was not ready. We had to wait almost a half hour until a room was ready. Nice hotel but way over priced for the size of the room...

The hotel is very nice and the decor is also nice. There is a great deal of walking to get to places in the hotel, so I would not recommend it to anyone who has trouble walking distances. Getting to CoAmerica Park was very easy, as we took the people mover over there and back. The people mover is an excellent way to get around town is you don't want to walk. Lots of restaurants and things to do. We enjoyed our time there.
Staff attentive, room was great, was able to control temperature

The bathtub need a nonskid mat (I'm a senior) and one of the restaurants connected with the hotel (Andiamos) needs to improve their service. It was S-L_O_W!! The food was good but would have been better if it hadn't taken so long to eat.
The other restaurant connected to the hotel was fantastic in very way:Joe Meur's.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We were only in town for two days and one night to see a Red Wings game, so we didn't really get to experience everything, but what we did was great! The room had a beautiful view and was so clean, and the bed was SO comfortable! We took full advantage of the people mover stop on the second floor to explore downtown. We never even used our car til it was time to go to the airport. The only bad thing is that the Starbucks inside closed at noon and the museum and other shops were closed the days we were there.

Easy access to Cobo Hall was the main attraction. I found the staff to be very helpful. It's a big facility do be prepared to walk a bit. Wifi should be standard issue at this price point.
