Millennium Minneapolis is within walking distance of great restaurants, a farmers market, and other points of interest. It is near the expressway to the airport. It is easy to get to points both north and south from there, and with an indoor parking garage, it makes it quite easy for an out-of-towner to get around.
The rooms are fine, the housekeeping is great, and the front desk is always helpful. Wireless costs $10/day, which seems a bit much, but it's free in the lounge. Room service is courteous and punctual. In general, a quiet, clean, comfortable, easy hotel.

The Millennium would be great place for a nice hotel. The Millennium has virtually no parking and the parking they do have, if you can get into it, is $16/day. They also charge $10/day for lousy/slow internet service. I had to park across the street at the Hyatt ($17.52/day) where I had to carry my luggage down 9 flights of starts in Minneapolis in December.

the hotel staff was very hospitable.

Rooms need to be updated.
Had to park across the street at the Hyatt's parking lot.
Carpet in the room was very dirty and seemed unkempt.

The hotel lobby was nice and the staff very helpful! It is also is a nice, convenient location. However, my room was dingy and outdated. There were large scratches and dings throughout the wood furniture in the room and an outdated t.v. and broken telephone- making the room also look like a cheap motel. The carpet was also dirty and moist to step on. I was not pleased with the small bathroom and dirty and stained bathtub. I was not impressed with this hotel and expected much more with my room. I really want to relax as opposed to stare at the beat up furniture. The bed was nice and the curtains were new. Otherwise, I felt like I was sleeping in a 1980's room. It was also not quiet for sleeping. The parking and internet were also higher costs that must be considered.
