The staff was very nice and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay a nice one. A refrigerator was brought to our room when requested. It is an older hotel, but the friendly staff make up for it.

The staff was friendly, even though they had to work on Thanksgiving. I appreciated that the service staff was given the day off and didn't mind that the room was not cleaned on Thanksgiving Day. However, my room needed some maintenance which surely had not happened in a single day. The toilet ran all day and night for the two nights we were there, which meant that it flushed all night long as well with the slow leak. Most annoying. The lighting by the bed is so dim that even the person lying next to the light has difficulty reading - I'm all for green, but my eyesight is more important. And on the morning of our checkout, our keys suddenly failed to work and we couldn't get back into our room after breakfast. So it was a disappointing stay.

La Quinta is usually a very reputable, reliable, hotel chain. Their hotel in Farmington is okay, the actual hotel had nothing wrong with it. Our room was as clean as an older hotel room can be, and the front desk was friendly. The location sometimes just cant be helped. We had gas siphoned out of our car sometime during the night, so woke up to an empty gas tank. Luckily the car was completely empty or we might have woken up to a broken window or two as well.

For the price, it's hard to beat La Quinta these days. This hotel is clean, quiet and has a good breakfast. No complaints.
