I travel to the Albuquerque area frequently to visit family, but this is the first time that I have stayed at this hotel. I was very impressed with the caring staff, the spacious room and the large grounds.
We came in on the Thursday before Labor Day and there were a lot of empty rooms. By Friday evening, the hotel filled up. I was afraid that this was going to squelch my quiet oasis. I was amazed at how quiet it remained. I could not hear talking in the next room, people walking by or even a TV.
Grounds are so nice with the swimming pool, picnic area & grill. I invited my family over for a BBQ.
I will definately stay at the Inn of Rio Rancho again!
All good for the value. not sure what happened the last day but i had to take a cold shower which i was not happy about.
best free breakfast ever !

The staff at check in was accomodating. They ran out of double queens so they gave us a king suite with 2 sofa beds, full kitchen, heated tiles in the bathroom, and the room was huge. I normally don't like hotels without interior corridores, however the entry to all of the rooms are within a keyed gate. It was the best 3 star hotel we have stayed in. We will stay again.
