to relax in hot tub FORGET IT!!! There should really be a limit to how many people
are allowed in one small hot tub! Gross!! and sooooooo disapointing!

Stayed at the Lodge at Sierra Blanca, March of 2010 for 3 nights. We were told we had to upgrade rooms since the room we originally booked could not accomodate a rollaway bed. We tried reserving a rollaway however, we were told they don't reserve the beds and it is on a first come, first serve basis. When we arrived in the afternoon, there were no rollaways available.
In the room, the carpet and couch were dirty. The mattresses were ripped and very hard. The heater was extremely loud.
The night desk clerk was rude and very unaccomodating! We tried getting bedding for the pullout couch when we discovered there was none in the room. She told us none was available. We were finally were able to get the bedding after a longer discussion with her.
The indoor heated pool and spa were very cold.

Don't think we'll be staying there. First I talked to a girl that told me that after making final plans, if I called back that day, I would get the king suite at our discounted government rate, also with the mid week discount. I tried for the rest of that day and the whole next day to call them on the three different lines they offer on the web site. Finally got a guy at 10pm the next night who told me my room was no longer available, he wasn't aware of the discounts, thought they claim them on their website;, and the pool and spa are closed due to renovation. not on the website, so I would've gotten their and not known.; Next he tells me that they also didn't get my messages or e-mails because they don't check them! First, they need a new website that tells it like it is. Second, they need... I don't know, but something. I was really looking for to staying there too. Now, I'm out of a vacation all together. Thanks alot.
