We visited in October 2012 for a full week. The Fort Marcy Suites are great for a family. Our room was spacious and convenient to the historic district of Santa Fe. The decor was nice and the corner fireplace was enjoyable. We really enjoyed our time there, but there were a few minor drawbacks. We were expecting a foldout bed in the living room, but it was a simple couch, which caused us some challenges arranging three clildren and two adults in two beds. The pool closed at 7:00, which was very inconvenient for post-sightseeing relaxation, and the kids were rabid to swim. The hot tub was small and the jets weren't working. We also had some spider issues with fall coming on, but that was fairly expected and I'm brave and was able to recue the children. It would have been good to have firewood available in the office for purchase. Overall, we loved the comfort, decor, and locale. We recommend the Fort Marcy Suites.

We booked this hotel based on its proximity to the downtown Plaza. We'd never been to Santa Fe and looked forward to walking to and from the historic area. I had a few concerns about the fact that it was uphill walking home, but the stroll was easy and the quaint neighborhoods were a pleasure to walk through. Our unit was clean and comfortable and would be a great home base for a short or long-term stay. The 2-bedroom unit is perfect for small families or couples traveling together. We appreciated the front desk staff who were helpful in recommending a restaurant and answering our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this adobe townhome. In a great area not far from town plus the complex had excellent views being high on a hill. At the end of our five day stay, we discovered the outdoor patio North of the indoor pool and also a gazebo. The kitchen was
spacious (not tons of cabinet space but ample) and the tile work, and decor in our unit was beautiful with the carved woodwork and ceiling beams plus a kiva fireplace. The staff was attentive and timely to our needs. Our only complaints were...one of the units by the parking lot looked tacky with sheets hanging up over windows and I think the white plastic outdoor furniture on our patio didn't make a good first impression when entering our unit. Each unit is individually owned so if you are concerned about the decor, be sure to ask for one that is aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend the Ft. Marcy Suites and will definitely stay there on our next trip. Great value, too!
