Choosing La Fonda Hotel was definately the right thing to do. We were there two nights and never had to get our car out. Many shops and restaurants are located within the Plaza or close walking distance. The staff at the Hotel was some of the best, very friendly and made you feel at home. The room was small but was certainly no problem for us. It looked out over the Plaza and what a great place to watch the action...would stay there again.

Service is excellent, rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Very convenient location in the Plaza. Just a bit loud late at night when windows are open and your room faces the plaza. But the hotel provides earplugs!

Our first trip to Taos and weren't sure where to book a room. We accidently found this hotel while walking around and were very pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They let us view available rooms and provided us with information on where to visit, etc. Definately will stay there again.
