Beautiful lobby, big nicely decorated rooms, and great big soft beds. Why not give 5 stars? The wait at the front desk was painfully long. There were other people back there, but no one seemed interested in helping the line of customers waiting to check in. The chai in the room had some obvious stains that caused me to question the cleanliness of all else.
The room was perfectly clean other than that. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would probably come back. I hope to revise this to a 5 star rating next time.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Biltmore for a week. It is a beautiful old building and has charm, but it really is overdue for a makeover. The room was clean, but had peeling paint and old, stained wallpaper. The bathroom only had a very small shower, however we prefer to shower, so it wasn't a problem for us. The hotel was in walking distance to everything in downtown Providence including the train station and across the street from the bus station. All in all I would recommed the Biltmore to anyone staying in Providence.
Beautiful hotel, gorgeous and comfortable room and great location.

From the minute we drove up, the staff was wonderful, even giving us a fantastic recommendation to a nearby seafood restaurant which was amazing. The bed was really comfortable and room beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for 5 of us. My only "complaint" was that an advertised kitchenette was really just a coffee pot in the corner of the bath countertop.
Over all pleased but might look elsewhere next time.

Location was excellent. My room did not have a dresser to unpack my clothes. Bathroom was very small and no where to put personal items. Hotel does not offer a store that sells miscellaneous items - recommend 7-11 down the street. Valet staff was very friendly and accomodating but cost is a bit high.
