I have never been this grossed out in my life. The entire hotel room floors ( not lobby) stink from mold and mildew. The place is in dire need of a renovation. Staff was friendly but that only goes so far. Buyer BEWARE!!!!!

For the price of this room, I would have at least expected that the hair on the bathroom floor would be removed from the previous occupants. We also called for extra towels and coffee. It never came. I did not bother asking again and complaining. We were there for only one night. Plus the coffee pot was dirty so after that thought we went to Starbucks! Very disappointed.clean your rooms!

The staff was very polite and helpful, the room was comfortable especially the bed. The overall stay was very nice and I'd elect to return to this hotel again

Where do I begin? We were originally trying to book a suite at the hotel but were steared toward one of the villas run by the hotel by the hotel booking agent. I was told I had to book the whole booking up front, so we did. Afterall it's a Westin what could go wrong? We arrived late at night little staff around to show us to the villa. It was pitch black and we got lost when I went back to the desk the receptionist gave us a blank stare and did not offer to have someone guide us there. thank god for a freindly valet at the front. When we entered the villa we were quite shocked at what we found. the hotel is supposed to be non smoking but the house stank of cigarretes and mold. Our son is asthmatic and we could not stay. The carpet was old, frayed and stained. The bathrooms were poorly maintained with grout coming off the tiles. We were promised a newly renovated villa, far from it. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was just two very uncomfortable singles put together and they were not the usual excellent Westin beds we were expecting. We went back to the reception and asked for some other accommodations and after a day of finagling we finally got a suite at the hotel, which was our original intent. This is where the adventure began. The carpets in the hallways were old and stained. The molding was coming off the walls in some places. The room itself was large enough but there were cigarette ashes on the balcony and they clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time. The furniture (what little there was) was run down and the drawers in the dresser were falling apart. One of the sinks in the room was blocked and we could not use it. Finally the icing on the cake was the cockroaches we found in the room. This was when we decided to cut our stay short. Thank god for the lacation (next to the beach) and the wonderfull golfcourses). I have stayed in many upscale hotels around the world, including Westin. This was not one of them.
