Public areas are beautiful and clean. The breakfast area has a beautiful view and the buffet has plenty of choices. The staff is generally nice. But the room was a huge disappointment. First we had to put the closet doors into the hinges, and move the ironing board of the wrong installed mount so it did not keep knocking the doors down. The room felt crammed, and there was a table with chairs squeezed in the corner, so it would be impossible for two people to sit there comfortably. Patches of painted wallpaper were peeling off, a tear in the carpet could have been fixed. Besides the bathroom being small, it was disgusting. Something was sprayed on the ceiling, which we were not sure if it was shampoo or some body fluids. (It stayed there for the 5 days we were there and we were careful not to touch it.) The tub was wiped but could have used some better scrubbing with black marks all over. The grout between the tiles looked dark and could use some mildew remover. The remote was duck-taped. Before checking out we did a thorough check not to leave anything behind and found big dust flakes under the beds- definitely not for someone with allergies. Some of the pictures online show a pool with a water slide: theses pools are 4 hotels down at the Embassy Suites but available for Hilton visitors- how misleading. After breakfast it seemed forever until an elevator arrived, and we thought one of the elevators was out of service, until another hotel guest shared with us he saw the cleaning staff is blocking an elevator for their purpose every morning instead of using the service elevator. With the extra fees for parking and the additional cost for breakfast we should have paid for a better hotel such as the Marriott and probably would have had more for our money. We stayed at many Hilton Hotels before, this is definitely the worst.

Comfy bed, nice room, nice pool and beachside bar. Staff were great, bellhop was prompt and quick. Bad side: when calling the hotel, you will be transferred repeatedly, and there are long hold times (experienced this over several calls), and parking in their own deck costs an extra $10 a day if you self park, $15 if you valet. Other than that, nice area, nice hotel, good location.
