I would not recommend for women traveling alone or with small children. The surrounding area is not the best. The directions are in correct. The motel is located on the west side of the highway not the east. Carpet was stained; door didnt close well and the a/c didnt keep the small room cool unless I set it to 65.
The"breakfast" was a joke and there was only one table in the very smalldining/lobby area.

I was working in Austin for SXSW and I needed a cheap hotel that wasn't too far away. I decided to accept a 30 minute drive. I ended up regretting the distance a little bit because of gas prices and there was nothing to do within walking distance of this hotel.
Everything with my reservation went according to plan. No hiccups at all. The staff seemed a little on the unfriendly side, but they provided the item or two I asked for. The free breakfast was just enough to be called a breakfast. Cereals, some pastries, a waffle iron, apple and orange juice, coffee and hard boiled eggs. Just sufficient.
The guest internet was terribly slow. If you plan on streaming Netflix, you should bring your own wifi. My room was clean, and on the days where housekeeping knocked on my door and I hadn't left quite yet, I returned to find that they had come back during the time I was gone to tidy up. That was appreciated.
My room also had a coffee maker, flat screen tv (although, when I walked by the open doors of other rooms I noticed that none of them had flat screens), hair dryer, microwave, and quite a large refrigerator. The swimming pool was a bit of a joke. Very small. Just enough to take a dip to cool off on a hot day.
One thing that bothered me was house keeping kept taking my used towels off the rack when I didn't want them to. If you know the signage that is in hotel rooms that says if you plan on reusing a towel hang it up, and if not leave it on the floor. I even put that sign on top of my hanging towel one day and they still took it even though the sign might have fallen and hit them when they moved the towel.
Overall, if you're looking for a quiet, comfortable, cheap place to stay on a work trip, and you don't need to be right in the middle of Austin, I would recomend this Days Inn.

The hotel was okay for the level of hotel that it is. It was difficult to sleep because we had the closest room to the lobby which is also close to the highway. If you stay here, ask for a room at the back, maybe that will cut down on the road traffic noise and you will sleep better.
