    My flight to houston from nashville was delayed by the airline due to "traffic control", so i missed my connection to brownsville. i contacted the holiday inn to let them ...

    My flight to Houston from Nashville was delayed by the airline due to "traffic control", so I missed my connection to Brownsville. I contacted the Holiday Inn to let them know, but they would not accommodate me in any way...I asked if they would change my room to the next night and I would extend my stay, or refund my prepaid night. They would do neither and offered nothing to help me out. It's not "their fault", but neither was it mine. And to top it off, since it wasn't the "airline's fault" either, United wouldn't help me out with the room cost in Houston. So not only did I pay for a room that I didn't sleep in and they probably sold again, but I had to pay for another room in a city in which I didn't want to stay.

    We stayed as we were passing through town and it was wonderful. Comfortable beds, very friendly staff, good breakfast. Close to highway but very quiet. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great choice and the price is very reasonable.

    I arrived in B'ville around 10:00 a.m. and needed to freshen up for an afternoon meeting. I asked if I could check in early. They accommodated me with great pleasure. Service was excellent the entire visit. Very updated, clean and safe as well.
