I got a room here not expecting a 5 star hotel, and I was not disappointed! I have stayed in some rough hotels, and I've stayed in 4 star hotels (I work for a living - no trust fund baby here). I needed a hot shower and a cold room and a comfy bed. The guy at the front desk was really polite and I got into my room without any hassle. If you want a $150 per night room, go to Lynchburg, if you are passing through and want an extremely affordable room, I'd HIGHLY recommend this.

The staff were very helpful. However, this doesn't make up for the appearance and overall accommodations. The minute I walked into room it had a very bad odor. It was a good thing I had some cleaning supplies that I travel with at alm times. I had to clean up and wiping down the room was very discouraging. It was filthy. I would reccomend the property be renovated and CLEANED.

Hotel was dirty, had bugs on bed. Pool was filled with bugs. Stains on bed sheets.

I was shocked to get such a horrible room through Travel online. Our room was last updated circa 1974. The tiny room reeked of powder carpet freshener, stain from the chairs. The cheap drop ceiling was stained with chipped tiles, paint and wallpaper throughout was peeling, chipped or filthy. The beds were hard with cheap pillows and old electric blankets -- blankets with cords running through them. The bathroom counters were horribly stained, The only good things were that the coffee pot and hair dryer appeared to be new and the room did have a new microwave and refrigerator. The desk staff, although friendly, did not appear to have any training. The drawers contained prophylactics and clothing from the previous occupant. The 2nd best thing about it was the water pressure, which was great -- the best thing was that we only had to endure it for one night.
