Our only complaint was that the tub seemed to have the enamel worn off of the bottom of it. It was clean but didn't look it. Everything else was fine. Nice breakfast bar.

Air conditioner leaked outside our front door and carpet was wet inside room for a cople of feet. Room not laid out well and had to turn sideways to get in between the bed and the desk with the chair so we moved the chair to the only open space which meant the desk was wasted space. Bathtub needs to be replaced as it looks old and we weren't really sure it was clean.

After staying at this La Quinta, we booked La Quinta hotels for the rest of our roadtrip throughout virginia and tennessee. very good value value for the price. with breakfast included, you can't beat La Quinta.

I didn't realize that this was a motel, not a hotel. The pictures here are small, and so you can't quite see that the doors to the rooms are external. That being said, this location is comparable with other La Quinta locations, however the traffic on I-81 right outside the door would be a problem for light sleepers. The mountain top location is a perfect stronghold if there was a zombie outbreak during your vacation.
