We stayed in a 2 br/2ba condo for a week. Although the property is timeshares, they do have rentals available. Fully equipped including a laundry in the apartment. Very clean and comfortable and we were only approached once about a a timeshare interview. Close to Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg and Yorktown it is centrally located for historic tours, golf, etc.

I have very fond memories of vacationing as a child at the Historic Powhatan Resort. The grounds are very beautiful---a historic property amid lush, green trees. There are plenty of tennis courts and pools--outdoor as well as an indoor. Recently, I visited Williamsburg and stayed with a friend at the Hisortic Powhattan Resort. We spent extra money for the deluxe room. We had a great trip and really enjoyed having a quaint little apartment-like space to stay in. Recently, I returned with my sister and friend and stayed in a two bedroom that was not a deluxe. The room was a little disappointing. The decor was dated and the coffee table was literally falling apart. The room was clean, but not nearly as nice as the deluxe room. I am debating on weather or not I will return for a third time, or stay at a hotel closer to historic Williamsburg downtown.

This was a great place to stay. The price was right and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Although we were only there one night, it would have been a wonderful place to stay longer.

We have stayed hear 3-4 times over the past year to visit our daughter at a local college and to visit Bush Gardens/Williamsburg. The place has been going through renovations and is in great shape. The pools are resort level and the rooms are on four-star level - very spacious and good quality on all items. For families wanting to save some $ by eating some meals in, they have wonderful kitchen areas. This is a wonderful place for a couple or family getaway, and with easy access to main roads, Historic Williamsburg, and Busch Gardens.
