A very clean, modern room. The front desk was very nice, but not able to help me figure out the TV/remote system, which of course had about 35 buttons on it. I finally figured it out on my 2nd day.

Though the pictures on the website make the hotel look larger and more elegant than it actually is, the Hotel St. Denis is a fine lower priced hotel for Montreal. The Hotel was clean, the staff friendly and polite, but the room was small and there were signs of age and wear on the fixtures and carpets. We'd stay there again, as we felt comfortable and secure. Within walking distance of the old town, arts, port and entertainment districts, you won't spend much time in the room anyway. Flatscreen tv and wireless internet worked well. Metro stop around the corner, and bus station a block away make for convenient transportation. Cab rides are fixed at $38 Canadian from the airport to centre ville Montreal as of July 2011, but there's a bus to and from the airport for much less.

Clean room with sunny window and plenty of heat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of interesting things in the neighborhood and easy access to the subway system.

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel St. Denis. The staff were very helpful and accomodating, and the quality and cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. The bathroom was small but efficient and well ventilated, and the bed was completely comfortable for two. We had a room with a jacuzzi which was absolutely perfect after a long day of hoofing it around town to see the sights. Our lovely hotel room felt much more expensive than it really was. We'd stay there again and recommend it highly.
