    We are always looking for a hotel with good mattresses since I have spinal issues and we've discovered that the newer Holiday Inn Express hotels have gone high-end in its mattresses. This hotel was one of those. Had a nice stay.

    My son and I traveled to Des Moines for the USATF Championship. We stayed here because it was close to the highway, an easy drive into Des Moines AND they promised us to double beds. The latter is critical for us and so many times when we arrive at a hotel, we discover that they did not, in fact, save us a room with 2 beds. So, we were pleased that the Hilton Express actually paid attention to what you reserved. The room was great, very clean, nice linens, good (free) internet access, great free breakfast, easy off and on the highways, lots of dinner choises in the surrounding area. I would not recommend this for a romantic trip, but for a busy sports tournament weekend, it was perfect.

    This place if fantastic for a business traveler!! Not you average express hotel. The staff is great. They have network cables in the room in addition to the wireless. They even have some hot breakfast items!!!! Very clean and comfortable. Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
