Easy to find. Superb bed comfort. Location was off major road, but easy to get anywhere. Rooms were very clean.

My in-laws live in Springfield and the Garden Inn is the only place we'll stay in Springfield. The rooms are great, the beds are more comfortable than mine at home, and the breakfast is always the highlight of my day! The location is near many restaurants, but not in the city center. Overall, this is my favorite hotel in the area.

This hotel would have ranked up there for me except for one issue. There was an odor consistant through out the hotel. It was in the halls, elevator, stairwells and unfortunately, the room. I don't know if it was a cleaning chemical or what but it smelled exactly like Jheri Curl (Afro Sheen). Normally the smell would not be an issue but it was on such a large scale you could not help but to notice it. Aside from that, The rooom was clean, bathroom stocked well (shamp/soap/lotion/shwrcap/etc) . The staff was very nice, no issues with service. The pool was clean. Location was on the main hwy with all restaurants nearbye. Nice part of town. When I researched the price it was only $1 extra for a Bed and Breakfast room. It is a standard room but gives you a voucher for a free breakfast at the hotel. For the $1, my wife and I ate at a mini buffet with fresh eggs/meats/fruits/cereals/juices/pastries/ it was an excellent value.

My boyfriend and I stay here quite frequently. Since he lives out of town, and I have roommates it is much easier to get a hotel room so that the two of us can have some quality time together. Both times we have stayed here we have been impressed with the cleanliness and overall care of the facility. Unfortunately, the last time we stayed here the comforter on the bed had a hole in it, but I understand it's difficult to keep up with the amount of people you have coming in. We love the comfort and convenience that the Garden Inn provides - it's close to college campus and many other things. I highly recommend it to anybody - even families. One particular occasion the hotel was completely booked, and there were a ton of children running around - our room was still quiet! Very nice place - I don't know that you can find a better value on the east end of Springfield!
