If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and romantic location then Punta Serena fits the bill. The airport is small and feels like you are landing on the beach. Taxi service is very easy. The taxi stand hooked us up immediately and loaded our luggage while we got something cold to drink. The driver was in uniform and very professional. Cleanest cab I have ever been in. Was about $70 for cab fare to hotel (about 45 minute drive). For the first few days there were only about 6 couples at the resort. We would eat a light breakfast then head to the clothing optional beach till about 2 in the afternoon. The covered double beach chaise was great to relax on. This was our first vacation at a clothing optional resort but we quickly adjusted with no problems. After returning from the beach we would spend the rest of the afternoon around the pool or patio bar area relaxing. The pool is only about 4 foot deep and while not large, it gives you a nice intimate feeling. Service at the pool area is great with both drinks and snacks. After dark we would go to dinner at the second floor, open air palapa restaurant that overlooks the bay. Meals were very good and with a decent selection to choose from. Every evening there is a special which we had several nights. After dinner we would either retire back to our room or head back to the hot tub that hung on the edge of the cliff for some additional relaxing. Overall this was the most sexy and romantic vacation we have ever had. We would go back in a heartbeat. Note: There are steps everywhere... Up Down Up Down Up Down... LOL!
