the breakfast was awful. they only had broiled eggs. a two bread toaster for around 20 customers that dint work (had to hold the electrical cord against it) the plates were the small paper plates used for cakes. they don't have employees!! seem like the owners are a couple, that want to do all the work by themselves!!! the swimming pool furniture is so cheap and ugly.. the floor is falling apart!!! defenetly so BAD!!!! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME A RATE A HOTEL CAUSE IM NOT SO DEMANDING.

Our stay in Ruidoso was very good. Katy(the MOD) made our stay there very pleasant. We started with a few problems, but all were taken care of. The only improvement I would reccomend is maybe adding a waffle maker. Other than that, I have no real complaints to make about our stay in this Ramada.

Wow, where to begin? A posh Motel 6? An overpriced hunk of crud? I believe it was both. I was completely flabbergasted when I arrived and the clerk on duty was busier chatting with the person he was checking in then with the fact that he had a lobby full of tired travelers who wanted nothing more than to check in. When he finally got around to checking me in, he was extremely slow. There was no soap, and it appeared that our bathroom was not cleaned before the room was rented out again. The roof was cracked, the floor creaked, the paint was peeling, it was absolutely horrid. I've been to Motel 6's that were way nicer than this Ramada. This was not what I was expecting from the Ramada name.
When we got down to the indoor pool. it was heavily chlorinated, to the point of causing discomfort in the eyes. While in the pool, there was a family there who had exaggerated loud children. They could be heard from the lobby and yet the front desk clerk did nothing to come in and control the situation. I've worked for hotels before and while in their employ I was told to quiet down rowdy guests in the pool.
The high point of my stay was when I left. Absolutely dreadful, wouldn't stay again even if it was free.

The staff was mediocre, both the afternoon clerk and the morning clerks, it was as if they we guys fresh out of jail. The crib that I requested for our infant didn't have a bolt screwed into it, so needless to say we had to put the baby in the bed with us. The breakfast was nothing to write home to mom about and was overall disappointing. I requested a non-smoking suite and was given instead a smoking one. The afternoon clerk had his wife and kid there with him in the lobby and when I went to go use the business center he was on the computer watching videos on YouTube. I just walked straight on through not even bothering to stop and ask him if I could use the computer. Last I checked when you work at a hotel, you need to stay at your post and not have friends or family over.
Also, something that's not mentioned is the active Union Pacific railroad line that's right across the interstate. If you're a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend this place. I don't know if the other hotels in the cluster as this one have problems with the train noises but this one did.
Overall for the money, it was okay. It was....well it was a Day's Inn.
