Lots of rigid unfriendly service. Bring your lawyer, you have to sign a contract when you arrive. You have to do this in most places, but it is not so in-your-face. You are not allowed access to your own car when the valet is off or taking a break which is most of the night. Forget leaving early. The room was very nice and the location was good, but it was not a welcoming place. Expect to pay for everything: internet, parking, room delivery

fine restaurant, maybe too self-consciously Southwestern, but
in a nice way. We have made many trips to Taos, and this was one of our best experiences.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Service top-notch. They went above and beyond the norm to make our stay special.
The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had a gas fireplace and very unique southwestern decor.
We felt pampered and made use of the spa and enjoyed walking on the spacious grounds.
It was peaceful, visually attractive and we can't wait to go back for longer than a weekend next time.
