From the moment you arrive and throughout your stay, the warm and gracious staff an The Chanler will make you extremely glad that you chose this hotel. Our beautifully appointed room was immaculate and the view was amazing. Dinner at the Spiced Pear was wonderful. There are several breakfast choices included with your stay and they are great as well. Friday night, you can enjoy listening to a jazz band at their beautiful cocktail lounge. It was the perfect atmosphere to relax and talk about our day. I will return to The Chanler again and again.

What a beautiful hotel. The room was immaculate, views lovely. We had a small problem with the gas fireplace, but maintenance came right out and fixed it. The rose petal, champagne bubble bath drawn for us was wonderful. We had dinner at the spiced pear, which was good, but breakfast the next morning was better.
I can't wait to go back and try another room!
If you don't mind going in the off season, Newport is beautiful all year long and the prices decrease significantly.
