Tete D'Indien Ruth -- Jul 15, 2010 08:06 pm We camped here with our 32' 5th wheel about 4 years ago. We loved the park. Lots of room for our two golden retrievers to run and swim! It was kind of intimitating getting into the site with the slope of the road but no problems and a great view of the Gaspe Bay. Very level sites. We're heading out to this same park in a week for 3 weeks. Can't wait to eat all the fresh seafood and local cuisine. Tete D'Indien Pete -- Mar 23, 2010 08:30 pm This is a very unique campground. I stayed here in Apr/May 2008 in a 34' motorhome towing. The sites are terraced, and can be intimidating, but a good look first will let one have a good run in. With a lobster pound about a km and a good fish place a couple more toward Perce, it's great for dropdead tasty seafood...and this from pacific coast fussies! Friendly service...Historical...was a watch outpost in WWII. Small warning...If hiking close to cliffs...very soft sandstone...could collapse under you...beautiful, but be cautious. Stayed for almost a mont...would do it again. |
