Checked into this Courtyard after a disappointing one night stay at the Marriott Sawgrass. The staff at the Courtyard was very helpful & got us into our room by 1:00 p.m. Very nice oceanfront room w/ balcony (overlooking the pool). Great to watch the surfers.

Love this hotel! It is the only one I will stay in at Jacksonville Beach. It is always clean and that is the most important thing for me.

There's really not much to say except it was an excellent value. High floor, ocean view, room was clean and was as expected. The pool area was very nice with a big fire pit and a spa/hot tub. Direct easy access to the beach. I would definitely stay here again and just not expect to interact much with staff.

Stayed July 9, 2010 for three days with my grown daughter. We spent a week doing research hoping to find a room for less money. I hope this helps updating the reviews. The price is in line with other hotels in the area. It was our first time in the area but hopefully not our last. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is not a restaurant on site but many options located close and easy to find. The beach is very close, clean and with life guards during the day. We paid extra for ocean view and the balcony was well worth it. (We were in room 238 and the open pit fireplace lit at night was just below. Not so good for July but would be great for cooler weather. Warmth and privacy.) The mattress was wonderful, a concern since I sleep on memory foam, but I slept very well with the darkest light out curtains I have ever had. Our experience was great and this needs to be posted. In response to a review about the parking, yes you may have to park across the two lane street at the Fairfield but the walk is short and pleasant. Thank you Courtyard for a memory not soom forgotten.
