We stayed in the newest building the Napili building in a one bedroom ocean front villa with a full kitchen. Check in was quick efficient and the staff friendly as they have always been at this resort. The living room and kitchen were a great size but the bedroom a bit small. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was tiny. We were directly above the pool but high enough up that noise was not an issue. We purchased the Marriott refillable mugs at the cafe and had all the drinks #40hot and cold#41 we could use the entire trip - well worth the money. I liked the fact that you can not get into the building without a room key that seems more secure than some hotels. I loved the room and the amazing view! the small pool in front of the building that was way less crowded than the main pool and the new bar #40it wasnt open every day unfortunately and no food service at the smaller pools#41. Plus the pools are salt water so not so tough on your skin. If you are staying at this resort be sure to know what you are getting. The Marriotts Ocean Club Napili and Lahaina villas have full kitchen and are brand new buildings the older Maui Ocean Club rooms are converted hotel rooms with partial kitchens but have bigger rooms and balconys. All check in at the same place and share the large main pool and the two smaller pools at the new buildings. For the price and the amount of space you get I dont think you can beat the Maui Marriott for the price. If you want luxury stay at the Ritz or Four Seasons if you want a reasonable priced villa stay here!

We stayed at this resort Dec 7, 2008 to Dec 17, 2008. This palce is very over rated and not worth the price. Staff were Lazy and not attentive at all. Would not stay here again.
