This was a one-night visit. Breakfast bar was quite nice, however the scrambled eggs were in short supply. The cook couldn't keep up with the demand. We had a room with two queen beds. Worked quite nicely for the three of us traveling together.
Staff was quite courteous and friendly. They gave a very good first impression.
Check-in staff member was less than impressive. had a problem which was not handled well by reception, and only made worse by carlson's toll free customer service agent. ...
Check-in staff member was less than impressive. Had a problem which was not handled well by reception, and only made worse by Carlson's toll free customer service agent. Will go out of my way not to use Carlson hotels again. In addition to this, had to unplug the heater / air-conditioning unit in able to sleep, as was so noisy. Also unplugged the fridge for same reason.

We usually stay at Country Inn and Suites when we travel. They have a consistent quality, and the Winchester location is no exception. We used to live near Winchester and when we are in the area to visit, this is our place of choice. The staff is courteous and well trained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is great.
