Fabulous landscape, enjoyable stay in the mountain

It is one of our best trip so far. We did the tour to Bac Ha market then take a boat ride upstream Chay river. We booked this via the website of Cao Son Ecolodge. Mr Bang, the tour guide was very interesting. He introduced us carefully about the market, ecolodge, and the culture of Flower Hmong people. We love the way he told us the story of Hmong`s wedding and their lifestyle. The road from Coc Ly to Cao Son was magnificient. We are on the top of the mountain, viewing the valley with the river, paradise waterfall and some secluded villages. All are really, really beautiful.
As Bang was very flexible, we did some breathtaking trek to Monkey forest and Tin Thang forest. We love the game card that he taught us and the swim by Ta Lam waterfall.
The rice terrace in Ta Then was incredible. It is very useful to know how the people can cultivate the rice on the mountain. The local people were so friendly to invite us the lunch.
As to the lodge, Cao Son Ecolodge was very warm. The rooms were colorfully decorated with pictures and handicraft. The food was extremely delicious. We did enjoy the foot massage and herbal bath also. The staff was so friendly that they made our stay for cozy.
I found that Cao Son Ecolodge is a perfect choice for those who wish to experience the real Vietnamese spirit in the mountain
