Simply Amazing

I was looking for a very last minute vacation idea for our family before the kids went back to school. I thought I had a big wish list but Gary and Marie exceeded all of our expectations. The kids had a blast with Daisy and Pepper (they really are the most incredible dogs I have seen) and the resort beach was great! We spent alot of timing kayaking and canoeing right on the lake and even did a little fishing. The kids were never bored and I always knew they were safe. The resort had several different play areas with everything from basketball to ping pong. We especially enjoyed our family time at the bonfires and Marie taught us how to make fruit pies over the campfie--YUM! We've never considered a winter Ely vacation but Gary has us convinced that it would be great and the kids can't wait to go sledding with Daisy.

Clean doesn't begin to describe our cabin. I wasn't sure what to expect in classic northwoods cabin that was built in the 40s but it was great. Well maintained, updated, good beds and the kitchen was stocked and supply to exceed my needs. Marie thinks of everything and even helped me with the few items that I forgot to pack.

Thank you Gary and Marie for making this our most memorable family vacation ever. We can't wait to return.
