Having travelled extensively to all corners of the world, I fail to recall when we have been made so welcome. The views of the sound and light show are stunning, it is so close you can hear the spoken words, it's closer than it appears in the photos. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, the local people very friendly, literally 10 minutes walk from the pyramids, a superb local bakers just around the corner. Cairo "central" is very easy to access and an adventure too. I really can't fault this whole experience, Catherine gives almost immediate responses to emails and is extremely accommodating in any way she can be. It had all the luxury you would expect from a hotel. It was equipped with comfortable beds, microwave, SAT TV, dvd-player, cd-player, jacuzzi, shower, everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Above all that, you 'll be amazed by the wonderful view from your own private roof terrace. There is nothing more beautiful, having breakfast in the open air,watching the pyramids and staring in the face of the sfinx. Catherine Farnsworth lives in the appartment above you and will help you with anything you need to know. She can also arrange tours, such as visiting Memphis and Sakkara, Nilecruises and so on. Be ready for an experience you will always remember!!!

Catherine responded very quickly to my enquiries and to all my questions. I was overwhelmed on my arrival to the apartment which I would rate as a 5* accommodation. The apartment was spotlessly clean. It is very large, it has ample airconditioning, nice modern furniture, Sat TV, DVD and CD Player, kettle, huge cooker, iron, ironing board, microwave, bath, shower, jacuzzi, in short, a fully equipped apartment. The view upstairs on the roof terrace is amazing. So, beware all you potential apartment renters, you may have a fight on your hands as I intend to rent this apartment again and again and again..........Lucy Terry
