The staff were so wonderful, loving and fun!!! Nery and Amanda and the staff the the Worldcafe were incredible!!! Everyone, since we walked in at reception, consistently through the whole week, the manager, Gabrielle, were amazing!!! The food was 5star excellence daily at every meal and the service we received was perfect!! We have traveled to the maya area and have stayed at the finest resorts, for the last 20 years but I would say this was one of the best resort that we've been to!! We didn't want to leave. I was at this resort on December, 2012. It was Christmas time.I was really tired from my routine and I needed some rest. From the very beginning of my stay I felt myself like in a perfect place. The room was huge with amazing view. It stayed clean all the time of my being there. Everything worked perfectly. Everyday I was getting fresh towels and schedule activities for next day. I tried room service. Great experience! The food was hot and in time. As I told before I was tired so I wanted just to relax. It is perfect place. The hotel has a lot of pools so I could find spot for myself to be almost alone. Then I was filling to have some fun. The entertainment team worked hard to keep people away from getting bored. Drinks and food were great. My favorite restaurants were French and Mexican one. All service people there were very nice and very professional. I didn't have any concerns except the choice of the restaurant for dinner.

I highly recommend this Secrets resort for a most relaxing getaway! We were there for four days which was absolutely perfect for us. We let the resort know that we were celebrating our anniversary and a bottle of champagne was delivered to our spectacular room. The pools were wonderful and clean, as was the swim up bar. Our favorite restaurant was El Patio - where the chef made a dish that we asked for. He made us "posole" - which was spectacular! The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious as well. The liquor was all top shelf and ALWAYS readily available. The beach was pleasant and we were prepared for the "reefy" water, so it didn't bother us a bit. Four days was perect for us! We are already planning to go back next year!

This was our second trip to Puerto Morelos, and we cannot say enough for the friendly service. We did not stay at Silversands the first trip, but both stays were equally enjoyable. We have also been to Jamaica and the service, where we stayed, just was not up to par with this hotel and the cancun area. We will definitely come back! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
