I was fortunate to stay a night at this place and was quite impressed with its care. The spa is well maintained, and clean. The therapist could use more expierence when it comes to massages. The bar staff was friendly, the pool was a bit over chlorainated. Other than that it was a fun clean place to rest

We knew we were in for a treat right away. Although the exterior is very similar to surrounding buildings, once you enter the lobby you are in a gorgeous courtyard filled with unique furniture, artwork, and tropical plants. The staff was really knowledgable and gracious, and nearly all of them spoke both spanish and english. Our room was a high ceiling'ed affair, that was naturally cool from the marble that we didn't need to use the aircon the entire time we were there. There is a full spa service in the hotel, wonderful treatments at very affordable prices. The pool was lovely and cool, beautiful after walking around in humid Granada. I loved this hotel and would definately stay there again if I return to Nicaragua.

I just had a amazing week long stay at Hotel Spa Granada. I could not have asked for better treatment. The room was very comfortable, the facility itself has been beautifully restored and gives you a real sense of history. The hip modern furnishings set off the elegant colonial building extremely well. The added benefit of having the chocolate museum right in the front part of the hotel made our stay even more special. We went on the cacao plantation tour and did the chocolate workshop. Both are must sees and must dos for anyone in Granada who loves chocolate (and who doesnt?). I hope to be back soon.

Wow, I wish all hotels had this fabulous a price/value relationship, and this fabulous a staff. The complimentary buffet breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts Ive ever had fresh juices, fresh fruits, yogurt, granola, rice and beans, fried plantains, bread and fresh tortillas, hash browns, and made to order omelettes and pancakes and as much as you want. We didnt have room for lunch after these breakfasts! The Mombacho Beach Club (the hotels swimming pool complex) was a great place for relaxing and snacking in the afternoons after a morning of touring the sights, and the Spa massages and other beauty treatments were wonderful and incredible bargains even for Nicaragua.

We stayed two nights at the Hotel Spa Granada in the beginning of April and had a really relaxing stay.
Everything was done for us to feel great : We had some massages and facials, the rooms with balconies had a really great view on the Mombacho Volcano and Granada's rooftops, the team gave us good tips about what could be seen in the neighbourhood.
We had the Room "Sky" which was blue but apparently all rooms have a different dominant colour and different names, it is quite funny.
There was a little restaurant near the pool with great cocktails but unfortunately, they did not have any hot dishes so we went out and discovered a lot of great restaurants around town.
I would definately go back to the hotel next time I travel to Nicaragua
