    My fiance and I traveled to Puerto Rico in April, 2009 for a 5 day holiday at the Marbella Club at Palmas Del Mar. If you are looking for around the clock , this is not your place. However, if you want a romantic, quiet, peaceful holiday with a round or two of golf at 2 of the most beautiful courses nearby or a set or 2 of tennis ,then this is your place. These villas are luxurious to say the least. The actual complex is prettier than the pictures. A gated complex inside a gated community. Very, very safe. Each villa has either a ocien view , pool view or golf course view. All are very picturesque. We were looking for an upscale type property and we were not disappointed. The grounds are magnificent with 2 very unique pools to use. The property is not crowded or cramped in any way. This is not a high energy place. Save that for work and enjoy your holiday. By the way, a rental car is almost a must for transportation to and from the airport and around Palmas Del Mar.
