The staff on checkin was very efficient and professional and friendly. The room needed much maintanience done. The door jamb was broken and you could see outside even when it was closed.
It was noisy and there were people outside our room that were talking loudly at one and two o'clockin the morning. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Room was okay but the door was warped and unable to secure very well. The room had a slight smell and some of the linens and towels did not appear to have been cleaned. The front desk was poorly staffed. We needed towels for the pool (that was filthy) and there was no one at the desk. We had to wait a good 15 minutes for someone to show up. Called the courtesy phone to get someone and the phone was left on the desk. They later appeared out of a backroom talking on their personal cell phone. The shower in the room had hair in it. The chlorine level in the pool was so bad that our kids were only able to swim in it once because their eyes swelled and had red blotches on their faces. We will NOT stay here again.

If you're trying to save on money then this hotel would be an okay option. Some things have been remodeled, although our toilet had a piece of wood sticking out to help balance it. The pool wasn't the cleanest around the edges and had a very overpowering chlorine smell. The hottub wood edges were pulling back. But all things considered, if you know you're not going to a 5 star hotel, then you can handle this one. The continental breakfast had fresh orange juice and apple juice. Cereal, doughnuts and fruit. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.
