The fire alarm system in the hotel is archaic and there are no sprinklers in individual rooms. When the microwave was used, it dimmed the lights. The building in general is in need of updating. There had also been a leak in the ceiling in our room & there were visible stains on the ceiling tile. The carpet in the stairwells had loose dirt & leaves, debris from outside that needed to be swept off. There isn't an elevator & if luggage is heavy it has to be "dragged" up the stairs. Needless to say, we had questions about the fire safety & there were areas that weren't very tidy & it would've been more convenient had there been an elevator for getting luggage upstairs. The bed was very uncomfortable. I will have to say though that the staff were accommodating & friendly however I would not stay here again because of the safety issues.

I would stay at this Hotel again. Very clean and comfortable.

Overall it's a good place to stay after a long day of driving. We had everything we needed, including a refrigerator to keep our cooler items cold over night. We didn't eat the breakfast since we wanted to sleep in, but it was still partially going after 9am. It looked like the normal continental style, I did notice that they had more than sugary cereals in their variety. If we needed to stay again we would.

We were a little concerned about this hotel due to some of the reviews but decided to go for it as the price was right and we were just staying one night. We also had some confidence in the Baymont name. We were very pleased with our room. The bed and linens were great. The towels were very nice too. I am glad we stayed here and saved the extra twenty or more dollars the other hotels in the area were charging!
