Upon arriving at the hotel the gentleman at the front desk was nice and helpful. He checked us into our rooms without a problem. once we entered the first room it looked as though someone has rebuild a motorcycle on the floor due to all the grease stains and the floors in both rooms had not been vacuumed in some time. All of the towels had holes in them and where stained. The shower in one of the rooms did nothing but squirt water out of the side of the shower head. One room had an infestation of large carpenter ants living in it. Both rooms had what the hotel worker called "summer bugs" crawling through the door jams. If the "summer bugs where able to gain enter to the room I would not want to know what other potentially harmful insects could have been in the room. When the hotel staff was alerted about the situation they did move us to two other rooms. Both of the new rooms looked fairly clean. One of the room's door lock did not work and the hotel staff did not want to move our rooms again so we where asked to gain access to the adjoining room through the party door. In the AM I asked for a delayed check out time on both rooms, the hotel staff was only willing to give one of the rooms an delayed checkout time. I found it hard to believe that room had a reservation due to the fact there was no more then 5 vehicles in the parking lot of the whole hotel my whole stay there (one of which looked like a broken down vehicle that had been there for months). My suspicion was correct when the room they would not give us a delayed check out in had not been touched by house keeping until after my departure. Bottom line DO NOT STAY HERE!!
This hotel was a good value for the money and was clean enough.

I don't know why hotels can't get it that handicapped people travel with others with whom they are not married or they are not in a relationship with. I can never find a handicapped room that my friend and I can share with two queen beds and with a reasonable price.
