We arrived and they had our rooms ready. They were quite clean except for a couple of apple crumbs that we found somewhere in the carpet. That was not something to reallly worry about nevertheless.
The only problem we had is that it was a room for 3 and they didnt have 2-queen bedrooms so the sofa-bed was ok but not so great. Comfy anyways.
The other room was quite good too, except one day they misunderstood instructions and did not clean it. Nothing to worry too much about either.
Breakfast was good and enough. Good coffee, scrambled eggs, potatoes and meat patties. Somedays they had one thing and the next they wouldn't (like cream cheese for example) but meals were more than enough for everyone in the hotel.
Location is excellent. Easy to get from there to mostly anywhere by car.
Staff is really friendly and willing to help in any need. I would indeed stay again here (If I ever go back to SAT, which I must admit, was not a great city to visit, I found it boring)

I reserved 2 rooms in this hotel. One was for my uncle & aunt and one for my parents and I.
I was uncertain about the location for it is on the north but believe me: that's where must of the good things are. Downtown is not much of a big thing to see or experience.
My uncle and aunt had a great room on the 2nd floor and we were placed on the 3rd (only 3 floors in the facility). When we arrived to our room it was pretty neat and clean, good carpets, good curtains, small TV, clean bathroom and good kitchenette. The only trouble is there was only one bedroom and 1 sofa-bed. It was uncomfortable so we decided to fit in the king bed for they didnt have 2 queens. We found some apple crumbles on the floor and little details that showed that cleaning was not all that great but it was pretty decent in either case.
Breakfast on Friday was good: scrambled eggs, meat patties, potatoes, salsa, bagels, cream cheese, waffles, fresh coffee & tea, milk, cereals, pastries, juices and so. Breakfast on Saturday was a bit less (no cream cheese, no pastries, little less of everything) and very plain on Sunday (no meat, only scrambled eggs and potatoes with little sausage). Still it was a good choice to have a good breakfast.
We never got to use the pool or gym for it was chilly that weekend but it looked quite good.
Staff was very friendly all the time. One remote was broken and they said they would replace it (uncertain if they did after all), they kept our luggage for the rest of Sunday while our flight departed and we visited San Antonio (which wasn't all that great of a city if you ask me). One thing happening in the other room is that housekeeping came early on Saturday and the lady was Mexican or Latinamerican and asked something to my aunt (which speaks perfect Spanish too) but somehow they didn't manage to understand each other and that night they discovered they didn't clean the room. Still it was not something to be mad about.
The hotel is pretty neat overall, I would without a doubt recommend it and would always come back if I ever decided to go back to San Antonio (but maybe I won't... city was unimpressive and shopping was uneventful).
My 2 cents.

Nice hotel, great location. Within 15 mins of Fiesta Texas. Breakfast was good, staff very accomodating. Room was a little small, bathroom was updated and very nice. The pool was very clean and pretty. The only complaint I have is that my room didn't have blackout curtains. I was very surprised at this! The buildings outside my window had very bright lights so even at night, the room was pretty bright and the sun woke me up each morning. Not sure if all rooms are this way, but mine was. Other than that, very nice and would stay again.

Good value for $. Rms were clean w/contemporary furnishing. Polite staff. In room frig, microwave, oven, flat screen. Only negative would be it was difficult to access from the direction we came on highway due to it being not directly on the street.
