I thought reserving a room for a Thursday night would be a treat, an upgrade from the Day's Inn or Holiday Express. Was I WRONG! Apparently, even if you reserve 'waterfront king', you won't get it. I got stuck on the 2nd floor, right above the lobby, next to the elevator, in a very well-lit handicapped room, which also meant no refrigerator or microwave. After lugging my luggage from the nearly-full parking lot across the street (no valet service), I got to my room to enjoy an almost sleepless night due to the people coming in and out of the lobby until 1 am combined with the lights from the front of the hotel. Did I mention the train? The next morning, after my handicapped shower flooded the bathroom, I left around 4 a.m. to discover the hotel was not filled to capacity at all. In fact the parking lot was almost empty. The cars from the night before were from the hotel staff and patrons of the bar. This hotel was such a disappointment. I mean, even the Day's Inn gives you a refrigerator. When I went to the bar to get a nightcap, I was greeted by a friendly young lady in a track suit, who took nearly 20 minutes to make a Baileys and coffee. (And a weak one at that). As the bar filled up with locals from Stockton, it became very clear who that hotel is really catering to; the locals. If you are from San Diego or Eureka, I suggest another hotel for a good nights sleep. Very unhappy with this hotel and I won't go back.

Stayed only one night. The location was good with nice view of the harbor. Clean and simple. Staff was very friendly and personable.
