Incredible!

We have stayed at Three Gables many times and have never had a less than excellent experience. The accommodations are wonderful - you are not wanting for anything. The river setting is spectacular - very peaceful and soothing. You are close to excellent golf courses, sandy beaches, as well as island restaurants with their world famous mussels. Try them - you'll love them!! Doug and Bev are wonderful hosts - always ready with recommendations as they know the island well. As a matter of fact, our Three Gables experiences were so rewarding, we moved across the country and are now retired in PEI. Thank you Doug and Bev.

Three Gables Waterfront Carriage House

We had an opportunity to stay at the Carriage House for one week in June, 2011 with friends of ours from British Columbia. We were so pleased with the beautiful accommodation overlooking the tranquil and picturesque Montague River. Bev and Doug Johnston, the owners, were the perfect hosts and made us feel at home from the beginning of our great holiday and golf excursion. They attended to every detail of our trip from making reservations for five glorious golf courses (at reduced rates) to providing detailed directions from the ferry coming from Nova Scotia. The accommodations were immaculately clean. We felt at home as there is only one cottage on the property. The cottage is in a supberb location situated in close proximity to some the greatest gold courses that we have ever experienced. The rates were very reasonable. It was like Bev and Doug shared their home with us. The carriage house was equipped with everything that one could ask for including high-speed internet.
We plan on returning in the not too distant future and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a holiday made in heaven. Thanks Bev and Doug for everything.
