Spur of the Moment Ranch

We stayed in one of the beautiful log cabins built by the owners. It was spotless. It had a lovely gas fireplace and full kitchen. The ranch is very close to the Nicolet trail--and we enjoyed tranquil walks into the woods. Don't assume that you need to own a horse to take advantage of the offerings of this resort. People who appreciate the Northwoods will probably enjoy the proximity of trails and abundant natural beauty.

The owners were exceptionally friendly and made the stay delightful. Even their donkeys, chickens and horses welcomed us ( The chicken "ladies" are a hoot!).

We will be staying here again. The cabins are warm and cozy and would be great for winter vacationing.
