This hostel was the worst experiencie of my life. As we were checking in, the first thing the guy at the counter asked me and my girlfriends was our relationship status. The staff is overly agressive and they even try to get the girls drunk and then take advantage of them. Also, you are not allowed to drink your own alcohol because you have to buy it from them; however, the bar sucks and it is only open 4 hours each night. So if you intend to day booze you have to hide in your room to do so or do it outside the hostel. Also, the restrooms are very dirty and the shower is salt water which is pretty disgusting. Additionally, the staff invited all their local friends and they hit on every girl and get drinks for free.
The experience was complete crap. I have never felt so uncomfortable at a hostel before and I have been all over south america, europe, asia, and australia.
If you have a chance to stay at some other place do so. If you, however, decide to stay here, keep in my mind all these comments.
