The non-smoking room smelled like smoke, and had cigarette burns in the bed. There were roaches visible. After being assured that late check (noon) out was not a problem, staff entered unannounced at 8:00 a.m. and demanded, "check out!", "Check out!" Awaking and informing him that we requested late check out, he left only to return 1 hour later, again unannounced, demanding, "Check out!" And by the time we were up and dress and downstairs , around 8:30 am. there wasn't any breakfast available except for cereal and warm milk. No apologies were offered for these situations, only shrugs.

We were very tired upon arrival. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff was very nice and helpful. My only complaint was we are nonsmokers, and received smoking rooms. One room was not bad, but the one I slept in smelled very strong of cigarette smoke, and made it difficult to fall asleep. The next day, my clothes even smelled. The continental breakfast was quick and easy, and check out was a breeze. Is there any way on hidden motels to request non-smoking rooms? If we had non-smoking rooms, this would have been a 5 star rating! Thank you for helping make our trip much easier by not having to search for a reasonably priced motel room!
